Abstract

The source function for the particle interior in the Mie problem in electricity and magnetism has been studied in computer calculations incorporating the Miev0 code of the National Center for Atmospheric Research. The computation is discussed, and the internal field patterns are organized into distinct categories. Errors that appeared in a previous treatment are cited.
